Whether we start with a base plan or a napkin sketch, we create a design with all considerations in mind:
The Dream, The Needs, & The Budget.
Not only do we design the house but also the site - municipal boundaries, house orientation, well and septic placement, and planning locations for entertainment, pools, courts, outbuildings, etc.
Step 2
bid
Once the design is 95% complete we send the plans out to trade partners for bidding. Having options priced out for those few items that may be "on the fence" helps clients decide if they want to include it in their build now or make the investment in the future.
Contract signing is done after bids to give clients confidence in clear pricing and expectations.
build
Step 3
Your dream home will be built by a local trusted home builder. Clients meet with each vendor to select the colors and materials for their home.
Official communication transfers to the builder at this time. We recommend inviting your BDH designer to site walks and selection appointments to help work through details such as electrical locations.
